"us"). Kamuit is a platform designed to connect

riders and drivers for community-based

carpooling and scheduled rides. By accessing

or using our website, mobile application, or any

of our services (collectively, the "Services"), you

agree to these Terms and Conditions and our

Privacy Policy.

Purpose of This MVP Policy

This policy is designed for Kamuit’s MVP

(Minimum Viable Product) stage to ensure

transparency, user safety, and compliance

with data protection and A2P messaging

requirements. We only collect and use the

minimal amount of data necessary to

enable authentication, communication, and

functionality of our platform.

Geographic Scope

Kamuit currently operates only within the

United States, specifically in the following

states: Texas, California, Pennsylvania,

Arizona, Nevada, Illinois, New York,

New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Users

from outside these regions should not use

Kamuit’s Services until nationwide coverage

is announced.

Data We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Phone Number: Used for user account

verification through one-time passcodes

(OTPs) via SMS.
Name and Email (optional): Used for profile

identification and customer support.
Location Data (if provided): Used for ride

matching and estimated route calculations.
Device and Usage Information: Basic logs

(IP address, browser type) to improve system

performance and security.
We do not collect sensitive personal data such

as government IDs, payment information, or

biometric data during MVP testing.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for the following

purposes:

Authentication: To send one-time passcodes

(OTPs) for account registration or login.
Service Delivery: To match drivers and riders

and display relevant ride details.
Communication: To notify users of booking

confirmations, cancellations, or updates.
Safety and Security: To detect fraudulent or

unauthorized activities.
We do not sell, share, or rent your data for

marketing or promotional purposes.

User Consent

By registering or logging into Kamuit, you

provide explicit consent to receive OTP

messages for verification and other essential

service-related notifications. You cannot

receive OTPs without entering your phone

number and initiating the verification process.

Data Retention

We retain your basic profile and messaging

logs only for as long as needed to operate the

platform and comply with applicable laws. You

may request deletion of your data by contacting

contact@kamuit.com.

Opt-Out & Communication

Kamuit only sends authentication and essential

notifications. However, users can:

Stop receiving messages by replying STOP to

any SMS.
Request assistance by replying HELP or

contacting contact@kamuit.com.
Once you opt out, Kamuit will no longer send

OTP or notification messages unless you

re-register.

Data Security

We implement standard security measures,

including encryption, secure storage, and

access control, to protect your data.

However, no online system is completely

risk-free, and you use our Services at your own

discretion.

Third-Party Services

Kamuit uses third-party APIs and providers

such as Twilio for OTP verification and Google

Maps for route data. These partners are

compliant with applicable data security

standards. We do not allow third parties to use

your data for their own marketing.

This policy may be updated periodically. The

Continued use of our Services after an update

means you accept the revised policy.
